Villas ALMA

ALMA was born from a very clear idea: to create architecture that does not compete with nature, but frames it and respects it.

Located in San Agustín, Bahías de Huatulco, right at the entrance of the National Park, ALMA spreads over a 3.6‑hectare site with two hills that gently descend toward the ocean. Its location combines privacy and nature with proximity to La Crucecita, just 5 minutes from downtown Huatulco and approximately 20 minutes from the International Airport.

The project brings together only 47 residences consisting of 2‑ and 3‑bedroom condos and 3‑ and 4‑bedroom villas. Its low‑density master plan follows the natural topography of the land, minimizes roadways and preserves vegetation, creating a residential experience where space, silence and views are the protagonists.

Designed by JJRR/Arquitectura in collaboration with Módica‑Ledezma, ALMA combines stone, wood, steel, concrete and travertine with large covered terraces and floor‑to‑ceiling sliding doors that blur the boundaries between interior and exterior.

Sustainability is an essential part of the project: green roofs, cross‑ventilation, renewable energy, grey‑water treatment, landscaping with endemic species, tree preservation and reforestation are some of the strategies that reduce its environmental impact.

The result is a contemporary tropical refuge designed to enjoy Huatulco year‑round: architecture, nature, wellness and privacy in one of the most privileged destinations on the Oaxaca coast.
